About Me

My photo
Fowler W Martin
As a journalist covering economic public policy issues, I worked in London, Tokyo and Washington, D.C. for a total of 33 years, retiring to Seattle in 2004. I am married and have two adult children. My father was a Naval officer and as a result I moved every two years as a child, before attending Phillips Exeter Academy and then Stanford University where I graduated with a degree in General Engineering with a computer science specialization. After college, I served two years as a Naval officer on a destroyer in the Pacific Fleet.
